A lightly worn but still very attractive copy of this classic work of existentialist absurdism centered on a the passage of a plague sweeping though the "pieds noirs" of Algeria.  Translated by Stuart Gilbert, the novel has been read as an allegory of the resistance to the Nazi occupation of France during World War II. Perfect reading for a pandemic!
