Garrett P. Serviss & the Max Fleischer Studios. Koko the Clown studies Einstein!
Serviss, Garrett P. & Roland D. Crandall [Max Fleischer Studios]. The Einstein Theory of Relativity. New York: Edwin Miles Fadman, Inc, 1923.
A book on quantum physics by Garrett P. Serviss, the popular astronomy and science fiction author, whose works include Edison Conquers Mars and The Moon Metal. Profusely illustrated by Roland D. Crandall of Max Fleischer's Out-of-the-Inkwell studio, whose best known star was Betty Boop. The rear cover features a bespectacled Koko the Clown puzzling over Einstein's work. A brilliant collaborative work in popular physics. An animated film version was released at the same time. Near fine in a very good example of the exceedingly rare dustwrapper.
